Stormy Days Of Winter

I lie in bed on this Saturday morning listening to the rain spill out of the sky in large cascading drops. The sun is nowhere to be seen hiding behind dark purple clouds. The wind blowing over the ocean waters creating white caps as far as the eye can see. Its high tide and the waves hitting the shoreline with the force of freight train speeding down the tracks. I listen as they crack the shore. Some say I am crazy for my weird obsession with bad weather. I think it’s mysterious and majestic with a life of its own. I can’t help enjoy the storm while having my cup of hot tea.
I think I’ll curl up with a good book.

The perfect day!

Tell me what makes a perfect day for you?

I love a good storm. It's like bad weather gives us permission to stay in and curl up. Hope you enjoyed your hot tea and good book!

BTW ... I visited your blog early on when you talked more about business stuff. Your writing is good and while I appreciate that people in the business would find your articles fascinating, those of us outside of the business probably wouldn't be as interested. So ... I really like the turn you've taken into the more personal stuff ... it's fun to read what you're thinking. So if my vote counts ... I opt for a more personal blog.

Take Care!

You are too funny and thanks for keeping up with me. You probably need some house guests so the quiet won't make you crazy.I wish we lived closer to eac other so I could visit you. Talk about storms, I used to be very afraid of them growing up and then when I became a Mother of course I could not be afraid anymore. you talk about your obsession with the weather, I think my Mom has you beat, she has written about the weather in the household calendar for some 20 yrs or so. I told her I want them left ot me in their will. They are pretty cool to look back and see what the weather was doing wherever we lived. Keep doin what you're doin and I will too!
Peace, Cathy

Hey,

Like Small Footprints, your business-related posts are quite foreign to me. Although, I'm studying economics at school and I can kind of understand some things.

As for my perfect day, I love the beach, as I said in my blog, so I love going there on a hot, sunny day to swim in the ocean and let my skin go darker.

Michael.

Hi everyone
thanks for your input and reading my blog.

I've spent most of Sunday trying to figure out how to get rid of a virus I picked up on my laptop while blogging, I am now using my desktop. Laptop is out of order for now.
Be Careful and don't leave your computer logged into blogger while your not using it.
